I spend many weekends caving with my wife, Jill Rowling. Most of the time is
spent exploring, surveying and mapping caves, always trying to find new caves
or extending known ones. Jill studies the mineralogy of speleothems
and, as a result of careful observation, discovered a new type of speleothem
"ribbon helictites".
As for myself, I have been particulary lucky in discovering
some quite important and spectacular cave passages at Jenolan Caves way
back in the 70's and 80's.
